The Ryder Cup is played every 2 years alternating between Europe and the United States. Europe have won the tournament 11 times whilst the USA have won 9 times since the tournament first took place in 1979. This event is widely considered one of the biggest rivalries in sport and always delivers a special atmosphere like no other.
